Activity log items are significant events that are tracked on each reservation and person. These can include phone calls, emails, letters, or faxes. Events such as cancellations or unit changes are also tracked in addition to printed materials such as invoices and confirmation letters. The activity dialog tracks the date, time, name of the user, description, and notes about the activity. If the item has been generated from a printing template, a copy of the merged document is saved in the database and you can view the template by clicking the Edit button in the Commands toolbar. This is helpful for tracking history or correspondence with a customer.

Examples of items that are saved and can be edited later on are any generated emails and printed items such as letters and invoices. Activity log items can be opened from the reservation or person dialog. You can also open them from the configuration sub section which displays a list of all activity sorted by date.

Items in this list that have a pencil icon are those with attached documents that can be edited.
